The Excelsior English was founded in the year 1992. The school is managed by the Adarsha Vidhyanidhi, a charitable trust. The Trust was founded by Late N M Joseph Neerakal who was desirous of creating a Charitable Trust in pursuance of his considerable efforts to uplift the downtrodden and to eradicate illiteracy and the evils prevailing in the present society.

The Trust intends to run establish schools and work for the uplift of children and improve the system of education in Kerala and train children to be law abiding citizens. The aim of the trust is to foster the spirit of love, tolerance and brotherhood among students, teachers and staff irrespective of caste and creed.

The Excelsior English school strives to attain the goals set for the by the late Chairman and will always work to attain the noble aspirations of the founder.
