2026<\/strong><\/p><p>May 25-29-The new academic year began with three days of Orientation for teachers.<\/p><p>There were sessions on Learning outcomes and Pedagogies, A follow up Session on DISHARI by Resorcio, a CBP on Ethics and Value education and a session on Photography by Ms.Sajana Jayraj an expert in the field.<\/p><p><strong>June 1<\/strong>-School reopened for Grades V to XII on June 1st<\/p><p>Special reopening day assemblies were conducted for the middle and secondary sections along the day.<\/p><p>June 2 -Grade XI &#8211; Freshers Introduction session was organised for new comers to introduce themselves and share their skills , talents and what they value most.<\/p><p>June 3 -School reopened for Grades I to IV<\/p><p>June 4- School reopened for Joyful Beginners ,Prep I and Prep II, followed by Orientation of Prep I and II parents.<\/p><p>June 5-Environment day was celebrated by the science department. A variety of events like seed sowing, tree planting, ,poster designing were a part of the celebration.<\/p><p>June 11-The School\u00a0 celebrated FIFA World Cup by lighting the ceremonial flame followed by a game of football by students of Grades V,VI and VII.<\/p><p>June 15-A Dr Nikitha Mary Mathew a specialist in Public policy , Research consultant UNESCO,Yale Fox fellow and consultant world bank addressed the commerce students of Grades XI and XII<\/p><p>June 17-Grade II had their bagless day. They visited Harp and Lyre in connection with Music Day to learn about different musical instruments ,Yoga day celebration followed by FIFA Celebration -Football Dance floor<\/p><p>June 18-<strong>FIFA<\/strong> fever continues with a penalty shoot out competition between the four houses.<\/p><p>June 19-<strong>National Reading Day<\/strong>.<\/p><p>The English department had organised a week long programmes including a Book launch ,\u00a0 Special assemblies , Designing book cover. spin the yarn , Spelling bee, ,Declamation, Special radio broadcasting of\u00a0 book reviews ,Notice board competition ,Inauguration of a class library etc<\/p><p>The whole school observed Drop Everything And Read(<strong>DEAR<\/strong>) time for an hour when the whole school took to reading.<\/p><p>As part of the Reading Day celebrations on June 19,2026, a team of ten students of Grade 9 &amp;10 from our school visited the ST.Johns U.P. School (neighbouring school) to promote the joy of reading among young learners ( Grade 1 &#8211; 7). Variety Programmes included Yoga demonstration, Semi classical dance performance, Karate display, Zumba , Presentation of Digital paintings by students, Distribution of prizes to winners of Chess tournaments, Abacus and Roller skating netted ball competition.<\/p><p>It was a fun day that highlighted\u00a0 students skills ,creativity and efforts of the mentors involved.<\/p><p><strong>An Eye Check Up camp<\/strong> was organised in the campus where students from Grades 1 to XI , Staff and Non- teaching staff were screened for vision issues<\/p><p>Special assemblies were conducted by the Sr.Secondary, Secondary and Junior School to felicitate and Thank the Administrator of the School Ms.Betty Mathews who was retiring after 33 years of\u00a0 service at School.<\/p><p>On a different date the management and Teachers gathered to bid farewell to Ms.Betty Mathews\u00a0 with shared memories,fun activities and gifts &#8211; a way of saying thank you for everything. It was a celebration of the many memories she has helped create and the countless lives she has touched as a teacher and mentor.<\/p><p>\u00a0The Commerce department conducted <strong>Agora 2026 \u2014Commerce fest<\/strong>&#8211; a celebration of ideas and enterprise\u00a0\u00a0 Corporate Walk , engaging business skits, quick-thinking quizzes, and creative product launches were showcased in the event celebrating\u00a0 entrepreneurial spirit of our students.<\/p><p>It was a\u00a0 truly exciting day of learning, innovation, and inspiration.<\/p><p>The Junior School conducted an assembly on the theme Women&#8217;s day<\/p><p>Students acknowledged the women in our lives \u2013 mothers, sisters, friends, and teachers \u2013 who support and uplift us every day and\u00a0 pledged to promote equality and\u00a0 empower women and girls.<\/p><p>An exclusive Capacity Building Programme\u00a0 on the theme &#8220;Use of AI in Classrooms&#8221; was organised for our teachers held at School .<strong>CBSE Resource persons Ms.Jyothi PB and Ms.Ajeena AP<\/strong> facilitated the full day session aiming at<\/p><p>Teaching effectiveness and student engagement<\/p><p>Parents -Teacher Consultation of Grades IX and XI was conducted on separate days to discuss\u00a0 performance\u00a0 and developmental plans for the student.<\/p><p>Special assembly was conducted to give away the Micro &#8211; Skills award to the junior school students acknowledging their tiny but mighty talents.<\/p><p>The valedictory function of the Wings of Awareness programme by the <strong>Tropical Institute of Ecological Sciences (TIES)<\/strong> and the Buimerc India Foundation\u00a0 was conducted in school.<\/p><p>The School, the Teacher coordinators , and the Student participants were appreciated and their active involvement was acknowledged through mementos and certificates.<\/p><p>Students of Grades X and XII completed their\u00a0 CBSE Board Exams from February 17th to March 30th.<\/p><p>The academic year concluded with the Annual Examination, which was completed on March 25th.
